Overcoming Complex Data Hurdles
If your billing, clinical, or scheduling data feels too messy for the market, you aren’t alone. We plug into your systems to instantly eliminate the industry’s most common data friction points:
- Siloed Systems: Consolidating fragmented patient records, mismatched IDs, and disconnected legacy EHRs.
- Opaque Networks: Unwinding poor tracking across complex provider networks, internal referrals, and sales reps.
- Revenue Leakage: Fixing non-standardized billing terminology and incomplete charge captures that cause cash-flow drag.
Deep Analytics, Built for Scrutiny
We go far beyond basic financial reporting to surface the granular, compliant data that institutional healthcare investors demand:
- Patient & Volume Metrics: Longitudinal growth, retention tracking, and standalone patient volumes.
- Utilization & Costing: Trended Cost Per Member Per Month (PMPM) cleanly mapped by individual insurance plan.
- Revenue Cycle Analytics: Deep claims denial tracking and payor mix analysis (gross charges vs. cash collections).
- Commercial & Supply Chain: Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) by brand, referral pipeline conversions, and vendor pricing dynamics.
Analytics Expertise
Our analytics cover patient volume, retention, and growth; trended cost per member per month by plan; claims denial rates; payor mix including charges and collections; price volume mix by category and brand; sales rep productivity and lead-to-sales conversions; and supplier and vendor volume and pricing.

News: Timely Intelligence on What Matters the Most
Health Systems Still Spend Big on EHRs as Margins Tighten
Hospital operating margins remain around 2%, yet health systems are simultaneously committing hundreds of millions — and in some cases more than $1 billion — to large-scale EHR transformations. Adventist Health, for example, is investing $500 million in Epic, as executives increasingly view fragmented systems not merely as an IT inconvenience but as a source of duplicated work, delayed billing and administrative expense. What caught our eye is the capital-allocation decision: health systems are making enormous technology investments during a period of financial pressure because they increasingly believe the cost of maintaining fragmented infrastructure may be greater than the cost of replacing it.
Insurers See Positive Results in Managing Health Costs in Q2
Major insurers showed surprisingly strong improvement in Q2, with UnitedHealth posting $5.5 billion in profit and CVS nearly $3 billion as cost-management efforts, particularly in Medicare Advantage, began to gain traction. But the pressure may be shifting rather than disappearing: insurers are now forecasting negative margins in parts of Medicaid, while ACA-market instability and changes to Medicaid eligibility remain important forward risks. For healthcare operators, this matters because payer profitability ultimately affects plan design, reimbursement pressure, geographic participation and contract negotiations — and investors are already looking beyond this year's earnings toward which lines of business can actually sustain margins.
HCA Acquires 40 Texas Urgent Care Centers
HCA Healthcare acquired Texas MedClinic, adding 40 urgent care centers across San Antonio, Central Texas and Houston and significantly expanding its CareNow outpatient network. The move is more interesting than the transaction alone: HCA already operates roughly 2,600 ambulatory sites, and this acquisition further pushes care away from the traditional hospital campus and into lower-acuity, consumer-friendly settings. For operators and investors, the question is where future healthcare revenue will actually be captured — and whether scale in urgent care, ambulatory care and other convenient access points increasingly becomes essential to protecting the larger health-system ecosystem.
The Hospitals and Health Systems Cutting Jobs in 2026
Continued workforce reductions across hospitals and health systems show how reimbursement pressure, labor costs, supply expenses and operational restructuring are forcing organizations to rethink staffing models. The bigger management question is whether reductions represent sustainable redesign or simply short-term cost containment that could create capacity, service or talent problems later.
Hospitals Warn Proposed Federal Grant Changes Could Increase Funding Uncertainty
The AHA is warning that proposed changes to federal grant rules could give agencies greater flexibility to alter or terminate awards, creating uncertainty around multiyear healthcare investments. For health systems dependent on grants for workforce programs, research, emergency preparedness and community initiatives, policy volatility itself can become a planning risk—even before any specific funding is actually withdrawn.
The New York Nurses Replaced by AI
A dispute over the elimination of nursing roles involved in utilization review is putting a spotlight on where healthcare organizations draw the line between AI-assisted work and AI-driven workforce replacement. Beyond the specific case, healthcare leaders face a larger challenge: using automation to relieve administrative burden without losing valuable institutional knowledge, employee trust or human judgment in complex workflows.
